Maple, padouk, and teak with Izhmash action
This is a five-laminate stock made of maple, padouk, and teak. Accents on the palm swell and cheekpiece are padouk. Using five laminations does not typically provide any additional significant strength although it does allow for more variation in color and appearance. This particular stock houses Marc's own Izhmash rifle, which he has used exclusively for the last four years. This combination of rifle and stock has placed as high as 6th at the World Championships and has never placed lower than 4th at the Summer Biathlon National Championships. Cost for this stock would be $850 + $75 (for the two extra lamination layers) + $75 (for the padouk laminates), for a total of $1000.
