Walnut with ebony
This stock is a triple laminate of walnut. Ebony palm swell, cheekpiece, and forend cap, along with diamond-shaped ebony inlays and a dark ebony stain for the walnut, were requested by the customer, a fan of black guns. The all-aluminum buttplate, and aluminum spacers for the butt plate and cheekpiece, were added to complement the modern, 'techy' look of this stock. Special considerations were made for this customer's small hands in the dimensions of the pistol grip and the addition of a left-handed bolt handle. Estimated cost for a stock of this type is $925-$950.
